In collaboration with fashion designer Rachel Kempsell
Accessories for a collection inspired by architecture. Designs were given as 2D drawings with measurements to be 3D modelled and printed.
The bags were modelled with a live hinge so they could be functional and printed with no support material.
The shoes were designed around an existing shoe, adding the sides to make it part of the collection.
The shoe required a lot of testing before printing the final piece.
The sole and the vamp had to be printed separately to avoid masses of support material while allowing different materials to be used for each.
The final print used grey PLA for the sole and white NinjaFlex for the vamp.
